QUALITY POLICY STATEMENT

Fairey Industrial Ceramics Limited, located in Newcastle-under-Lyme in Staffordshire, England designs and manufactures domestic 'point of use' drinking water filters and housings. These products are sold worldwide.

Fairey Industrial Ceramics' objectives are to continue to provide a world class quality product and to increase our share of the world-wide domestic drinking water filter market through new product introductions and geographic growth into new territories. In order to achieve this we will work closely with our customers to understand the needs for product differentiation in different countries.

Quality, performance and reliability of our products is paramount to maintaining our brand image as the Doulton®, British Berkefeld® and Fairey® brands are recognised as being among the strongest in the market. Therefore we have implemented a Quality Assurance System which has been designed to reflect the requirements of EN ISO 9001:2015 and has been independently certified by Lucideon CICS Limited. The Quality Management System includes the whole of the organisation, which is based at the production facility at Newcastle-under-Lyme. The QMS also considers the needs of any interested party of the organisation.

This quality system is regularly reviewed and audited by a UKAS approved third party certification body. This assures our customers and other interested parties that all Fairey Industrial Ceramics Limited products will be manufactured under the control of this system to a consistent specification and that its operating processes and procedures satisfy the requirements of an internationally recognised Quality Management System.

The Company has appointed a Quality Manager who is responsible for the development, operation and maintenance of this system, but the effective implementation of the Quality Policy requires the full cooperation of all its employees. We commit to ensuring that all employees are provided with appropriate training. All personnel are required to carry out their duties to the relevant procedures as everyone has a responsibility for quality. It is a mandatory requirement within Fairey Industrial Ceramics Limited that each employee operates within our processes and procedures and where possible contributes to its continual improvement.
